Honored for stopping lead exposures to thousands of Oakland residents based on cases filed by PUEBLO against American Brass & Iron Foundry and Owens-Brockway Glass Container.

Environmental Activities

President, Environmental Law Society (ELS) 1978-1980
University of San Diego School of Law

Organized and directed ELS students to become active in local environmental issues. Testified against nuclear power expansion and the San Onofre nuclear power plant at United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission hearings.

FFI is a foundation that works globally to protect the environment and public health and strengthen connection between people all over the world. FFI is a vehicle for individuals who share the bond of friendship to use their collective commitment, resources, and energy to improve the human condition and protect the environment all over the world. The foundation identifies and supports important projects, and raises funds from friends, colleagues, and other donors that is directly funneled to the projects with no deductions for overhead expenses. Many of these projects have involved some of the first environmental court cases filed in these countries. FFI has supported projects in more than 20 countries around the world.
