Overturned False and Misleading Ballot Argument on Behalf of Recycling Community

1990 – I represented the recycling community whose objective was to increase recycling programs in Alameda County. Opponents of Measure D wrote in the ballot argument that the measure was a tax. My clients argued that this statement was false and misleading and the Court agreed. Measure D passed and so did the birth of the recycling movement in the East Bay.
