Representing CBE Against Toxic Chemical Emissions
1990 – Represented Citizens for a Better Environment ("CBE") in issuing six Notices of Violation pursuant to Proposition 65 in response large emissions of toxic chemicals into the air in the Bay Area. In the first air toxics settlement in California under the new statute, Systron Donner, an aerospace company eliminated two carcinogens, methylene chloride and chloroform that were exposing residents in a nearby trailer park.
